Sports Meet 2023 : My role and experience

 

We had Sports Meet in our University for 3days . Most of the students participated in various sports . Me and Geeta hangma were  volunteer for carram match ( girls ).

On First day ( 09th. Feb , 2023 ) we had our science and world Term - II Examination. Around 11.20am we finished our exam after that we had our lunch and played volleyball. Later on we had indoors games like Darts , Carram , Table tennis and chess. The winner for this games were : 

1. Darts :

Sanjay darjee ( Sec - B) - boys 

Sushma Tamang ( Sec - B ) - girls 

2. Carram : 

Ujjwal Magar and Nim Tashi Sherpa ( Sec - A ) - boys 

Roshna Chettri and Sandhya Sharma ( Sec - C ) - girls 

3. Table tennis:

Rahul Gurung ( Sec - B ) - boys 

Miss Deepanjali Kapil Chettri ( Faculty) - girls 

4. Chess :

Namsahang Limboo ( Sec - A ) - boys 

Aznabi Rai ( Sec - B ) - girls 

On second day ( 10th . Feb , 2023 ) we had Nature Run but due to heavy rain it was cancelled. Around 10.45am all students were gathered on committee hall near by 13th mile, Bermiok. We had badminton competition and all the participants played well. The Finalists were Rahul Gurung , Regina Gurung ( Sec - B ) and Anish Gurung, Roshna Chettri  ( Sec - C ) . All four of them gave their 100% but at last the winners were :

Rahul Gurung ( Sec-B ) - boys 

Roshna Chettri ( Sec-C ) - girls 

On Third day ( 11th. Feb , 2023 ) we had Football match . It's funny that Me and my friends thought we were very late for the Nature Run but at the end of the day we got to know nobody participated in it except for us . The Finalists for football matches were :

( Sec-B ) and ( Sec-C ) - girls 

( Sec-A ) and ( Sec-C) - boys 

The winners of football match for girls were ( Sec - B ) and for boys the Final match is postponed due to lack of time . At last we ended Sport Meet 2023 with Tug-of-War . The winners of Tug-of-War are :

Faculty members ( boys ) 

Group A ( girls ) 

Overall my experience was good , I had fun playing and watching above mentioned sports.
