Field trip to Rabdentse

 On 24th. Feb, 2023 we had our 7th Field trip to Rabdentse of Tourism. We started our journey from Medhavi skills University on 10.00am .

Rabdentse Ruins is the archeological site that tells Sikkim’s story of glory. Until 1814 A.D, it was the second capital of Sikkim, established by the Chogyal II. Later on, after the Nepalese invasion in the 18th century, the palace and the monastery complex was destructed and turned into ruins.




We reached Rabdentse around 12.00pm , We did short hiking till desired destination and filmed vlogs . We did explore the destination and while returning back we did cleanliness drive where we picked up dirty plastics and bottles. We went to Bird sanctuary too and saw varities of birds To be honest there were so many birds that I have never seen before. Around 3.30pm we did our lunch on pelling bazar and we reached our room  at around 5.20pm .

The summer months between March to May are the best time to visit Rabdentse. The temperature is pleasant and days clear and sunny and you can enjoy beautiful view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. The history of this Rabdentse is mind blowing. If you visit this place once you'll remember it for life time . If you're planning to visit Sikkim in your next vacation add Rabdentse too.

Today we went to Ramidham also known as Shivlinga dhara for field visit on 18th.  Nov ,2022 . We students of tourism and students of creative writing collaborate for this trip , their were lots of students on bus so me , suchitra and bina went to Deepa Mam's car.  Our car reached first .
