Field trip to chayatal

 Chayatal is situated in the Western Part of the Sikkim; the village is just 32 km away from a well-known hamlet named Pelling. Basically chayatal is well known for Mahatma Sirijanga statue " the limbu's / subba 's God ." The most attractive thing of chayatal is chaya lake . It has a breathtakingly beautiful hill station with panoramic views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, Pandim, Kabru and Narsing, which rise up from virgin forests of Oak, Walnut and Pine. Punctuated by sacred azure lakes, West Sikkim’s landscape is truly magnificent. Located almost 151 kms from New Jalpaiguri, just a kilometer above Hee Gaon, this is one of the newest spots on the tourist map of West Sikkim.


The twin villages of Hee and Bermiok are located at the foot of Chaaya Taal at a height of 8400 ft. The rocky crags, steep slopes and deep ravines make the terrain of the misty mountains around Chaaya Taal most suitable for all sorts of adventure tourism like boating, village walks and trekking. 


We even filmed our vlog and I wasn't able to enjoy my trip much as I was suffering from headache and back pain , Still we had fun and explored the beautiful chayatal but we weren't able to visit chaya lake .

Field trip to Ramidham

Today we went to Ramidham also known as Shivlinga dhara for field visit on 18th.  Nov ,2022 . We students of tourism and students of creative writing collaborate for this trip , their were lots of students on bus so me , suchitra and bina went to Deepa Mam's car.  Our car reached first . So ,we three were the first one to start our journey to top, we Even reached first at top . After waiting for sometimes everyone start came and the Tour guide briefed us about Ramidham.  He told us Ramidham is religious place as well as tourist place , he even showed us different places which can be seen from that place. We can see places like Pelling , Geyzing , Mangalbaria , Kaluk , Richenpong , our university but some of places Like Darjeeling, Phoobtshirng Dara, Nepal , Ralang , Ravangla , Tashiding wasn't visible  because of cloudy weather .
